Use cedar or plastic trees, or stuff the toe box with acid-free paper. Never dry wet shoes on a radiator — the glue lets go and the leather cracks.

Soles and midsoles

Clean rubber with a damp cloth and mild soap, never bleach. White midsoles yellow with UV, so store the box away from direct sun.

Storage

Box each pair with a silica sachet in a dry cupboard. Keep suede away from plastic bags, which trap moisture.
